One person was airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre after a van and a truck hauling a cattle trailer collided late Thursday morning in Beeton.
The crash occurred shortly after 10 a.m. at Sideroad 10 and 11th Line. Police say the van’s passenger sustained serious injuries, was taken to a local hospital, and then transported by air ambulance.
Both drivers and the cattle were uninjured. Sideroad 10 remains closed between 10th Line and 11th Line while investigators examine the scene, and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
