A late-night fire caused major damage to a garage at a home in north London on Sunday.

Firefighters were dispatched to a residence on Wright Crescent around 11 p.m., where flames had heavily impacted the garage. A vehicle and two motorcycles stored inside were also damaged.

While the blaze did not spread into the main living space, thick smoke filled parts of the house. Intense heat also affected the exterior above the garage.

Everyone inside the home evacuated safely before crews arrived and were assessed by EMS at the scene for potential smoke inhalation.

An estimate of the total damage has not yet been released.
