A serious collision in St. Clair Township on Thursday left one person critically injured.
Lambton OPP said emergency crews were called just before 8:40 a.m. to the intersection of Highway 40 and Bentpath Line, where a passenger vehicle and a transport truck had crashed.
The 31-year-old driver of the passenger vehicle, from Plympton-Wyoming, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, while the truck driver was unharmed.
Highway 40 was temporarily shut down for investigation and cleanup but has since reopened. Police continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
