A fatal crash in King Township on Friday afternoon has left one person dead and another in hospital. The collision occurred on Highway 9 near Weston Road just after 1 p.m. and involved an SUV and a transport truck.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. As of now, Highway 9 is closed between South Canal Bank Road and Highway 400, and Weston Road is also closed near Highway 9 while police work at the scene.
