A fatal two-vehicle collision occurred Thursday afternoon in Ottawa’s Fallowfield area, leaving one woman in her 80s dead and a man, also in his 80s, hospitalized.
The crash took place around 1 p.m. at the intersection of Fallowfield Road and Eagleson Road and involved a dump truck and another vehicle. According to Ottawa police and paramedics, one man was pronounced dead at the scene, another was taken to a trauma centre, and a third person was assessed and released.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident. Road closures remain in place, and drivers are advised to avoid the area due to traffic delays.
