A 77-year-old man from Ottawa has died following a two-vehicle collision on Highway 17 near Renfrew on Wednesday morning.
Ontario Provincial Police say the crash occurred shortly after 10 a.m. between Storyland Road and Bruce Street. The Ottawa man was pronounced dead at the scene, while four other people in their 20s were transported to hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
The affected section of Highway 17 remains closed as the investigation continues.
