One person was taken to hospital and two people were arrested after a stolen vehicle was involved in a crash in Etobicoke.

Toronto police say an automated licence plate recognition alert identified the stolen car around 9:30 a.m. near Finch Avenue West and Highway 27. The suspect vehicle then collided with an unrelated car, sending one occupant of the other vehicle to hospital. Police arrested two suspects from the stolen vehicle at the scene.

Road closures were in place along Finch Avenue between Humberline Drive and Humber College Boulevard, as well as on Humber College Boulevard between Finch and Humberline, while the investigation continued.
