A three-vehicle collision involving a transport truck and two pickup trucks sent one man to hospital in Wellesley Township on Tuesday. Waterloo Regional Police responded to the crash at Line 86 and Powell Road around 5 p.m.

A 40-year-old Northumberland County man driving one of the pickups was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The other pickup driver and the 41-year-old Brampton man operating the transport truck were not injured.

Line 86 remained closed for several hours and reopened around 9 p.m. Police are still investigating the cause of the crash and are asking witnesses to come forward.
