One person suffered life-threatening injuries after a collision involving a snowmobile and a pickup truck in Tiny Township on Saturday morning.
Ontario Provincial Police closed Concession 12 East shortly before 10 a.m., between County Road 6 North at Lefaives Corners and Whippoorwill Drive. A nearby Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs trail was also shut down between Concession 11 East and Concession 12 East.
Emergency responders initially took the injured person to a local hospital before they were airlifted to a trauma centre for further care. Motorists and snowmobilers were advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes while crews worked at the scene.
Police say the OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement team will lead the investigation.
