A major multi-vehicle crash involving several transport trucks shut down a stretch of Highway 11 in northern Ontario early Saturday.
Police closed the section between Highways 65 and 64 near Latchford shortly before 7 a.m., with travel halted in both directions and no detour available. Emergency crews responded and urged drivers to stay away until the scene could be cleared. The roadway reopened around 11:40 a.m. after the vehicles were removed.
Only one person suffered minor injuries and was treated on-site. Investigators have not yet shared what led to the collision or whether charges will follow.
