Timmins police are investigating a collision involving a pickup truck and a scooter that occurred Wednesday evening at the intersection of Algonquin Boulevard West and Rea Street North.
Officers responded to the crash at approximately 5:33 p.m. and launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident. The person riding the scooter suffered injuries that are not considered life-threatening or life-altering.
Westbound lanes of Algonquin Boulevard were temporarily closed while police examined the scene before reopening shortly before 8:45 p.m. Investigators are continuing to determine whether any charges will be laid.
