Traffic has returned to normal on westbound Highway 401 in Whitby after a Thursday morning crash briefly shut down multiple lanes.
Ontario Provincial Police reported that two westbound lanes near Brock Street were closed following the collision. The Ministry of Transportation initially indicated that the left shoulder and two left lanes were affected.
By about 10:45 a.m., all lanes had reopened. Police say one person was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
