An off-road vehicle crash in Tiny Township over the weekend led to one person being hospitalized and another facing impaired driving charges.
Southern Georgian Bay OPP responded to the incident near Ninth Concession East and Baseline Road, where a 31-year-old was injured and taken to hospital. Following an investigation, police charged the 29-year-old ORV operator with impaired driving.
Authorities are reminding the public that the same impaired driving laws apply to off-road vehicles like ATVs as they do to regular vehicles. Penalties can include licence suspensions, fines, vehicle impoundment, and even jail time.
