A fatal two-vehicle crash in Norfolk County has left one person dead and the investigation ongoing, according to Ontario Provincial Police.
The collision happened around noon on April 24 at the intersection of Old Highway 24 and Norfolk County Road 19 East, near Wilsonville, involving an SUV and a sedan.
Emergency crews transported both the sedan driver and a passenger to hospital, where the 56-year-old passenger was later pronounced dead. The driver sustained minor injuries, while the SUV driver was not hurt.
The intersection was closed for several hours following the crash but has since reopened. The investigation is ongoing and officers are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has information to come forward.
