Police are continuing to investigate a three-vehicle collision that occurred in Caledon on Friday afternoon.
According to the OPP, the crash took place around 2 p.m. on Highway 10 in Caledon, between Escarpment Side Road and Travelled Road. Investigators say a commercial truck and a passenger vehicle were stopped on the shoulder when another commercial truck struck both vehicles from behind.
One person sustained serious injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
The collision forced the closure of Highway 10 for several hours between Charleston Side Road and Olde Base Line Road while officers examined the scene.
