A section of Front Road east of Clinton was closed after a serious collision involving a pickup truck and a man riding a mobility scooter prompted an emergency response Tuesday.
Huron County OPP say the shutdown affects the stretch between Sanctuary Line and Vanastra Road while officers investigate the scene. Police said the man operating the mobility scooter suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to a hospital in London.
Motorists were advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes. Front Road later reopened to traffic at approximately 9:30 p.m.
