A fire early Friday morning at a supportive housing residence on Dovercourt Road near Dundas Street West in Toronto left one person seriously injured.
The blaze began around 4 a.m. in a second-floor unit but was mostly contained by the building’s sprinkler system. Emergency crews found a resident in their 70s injured in the hallway and transported them to a trauma centre.
