A multi-vehicle collision on the southbound lanes of Highway 400 in North York caused major traffic disruptions Saturday afternoon near Sheppard Avenue West.
The crash prompted the temporary closure of several lanes, along with on-ramps from Finch Avenue, while the Ontario Provincial Police investigated the scene.
One person was taken to hospital as a precaution, though no serious injuries have been reported.
Police later confirmed the highway had reopened.
