A 37-year-old driver from Owen Sound is facing several criminal charges following a June collision that injured a motorcyclist. The charges, brought by Grey Bruce OPP, include dangerous operation causing bodily harm, careless driving causing bodily harm, and driving without insurance.
The incident occurred on June 23 in Chatsworth, specifically on Concession 3A, between Massie Road and Holland Sydenham Townline, when a pickup truck collided with the motorcyclist, leaving the rider with serious injuries.
While the cause of the crash has not been disclosed, the motorist has been released from custody. He is scheduled to appear in court later this month to address the charges.
