A 23-year-old Cambridge resident is facing charges following a single-vehicle crash in Puslinch that police say stemmed from an incident involving intimate partner violence inside the vehicle.
Ontario Provincial Police responded to Concession Road 7 around 10 p.m. on June 6 after reports of a vehicle in a ditch. During the investigation, officers determined the collision was linked to an altercation between the driver and a passenger while the vehicle was in motion.
Police charged the accused with spousal assault and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
The victim sustained minor injuries.
