A woman in her 30s sustained life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle in Toronto’s Port Lands early Monday.
Toronto police responded to the intersection of Carlaw Avenue and Commissioners Street shortly after 6 a.m. The pedestrian was transported to a trauma centre for emergency treatment.
The driver remained at the scene, and the intersection was temporarily closed while investigators examined the crash. The roads have since reopened.
