A pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle late at night in Oro-Medonte.
Ontario Provincial Police say the individual was sitting on the roadway beside a bicycle when the collision occurred at Ridge Road West and Spencer Trail in Shanty Bay shortly after 10 p.m.
The road was closed for several hours while officers investigated, then reopened in the early morning.
The injured person was taken to hospital, and authorities say the investigation remains ongoing with no charges announced so far.
