A 62-year-old pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a TTC streetcar in downtown Toronto on Friday evening.
Emergency crews responded to the intersection of King Street East and St. Lawrence Street at about 6:30 p.m. Police say the pedestrian was crossing northbound when they were struck by an eastbound 504 King streetcar.
The victim was taken to hospital with critical injuries. Toronto police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
