A male pedestrian in his 50s was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle Thursday night in Rexdale. Emergency crews responded near Rexdale Boulevard and Queen’s Plate Drive just before 9 p.m., where the victim was transported to a trauma centre with critical, potentially life-threatening injuries.
Authorities confirmed the driver stayed at the scene, and an investigation is underway to determine what caused the collision.
