Police are searching for a transport truck driver after a hit-and-run in Scarborough left a pedestrian seriously injured Thursday evening.
The incident occurred shortly before 7:30 p.m. near the intersection of Brimley Road and Eglinton Avenue East. Investigators say a male pedestrian was struck by a white transport truck that did not stop following the collision.
The victim was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
According to police, the truck was last seen heading westbound along Eglinton Avenue East. Authorities are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact investigators.
