A 27-year-old Bethany man has been charged in connection with a fatal hit-and-run in Scarborough.
The incident occurred Thursday night when a silver Ford F-150 struck a 62-year-old pedestrian crossing near Lawrence Avenue East and Kingston Road. The victim died at the scene, and the driver fled. Police later found the truck abandoned and, by Friday afternoon, arrested Ryan Feran.
He faces a charge of failing to stop at the scene of an accident causing death. The pedestrian’s identity has not been disclosed.
