Toronto police are investigating a hit-and-run incident involving a pedestrian that occurred late Saturday night. Officers responded around 9:30 p.m. after reports of a collision at Norman Avenue and Caledonia Road, just north of St. Clair Avenue West.
The driver, who was in a black SUV, fled the scene after striking the pedestrian. Police later identified the victim as a youth, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Due to the ongoing investigation, northbound Norman Avenue is closed at Caledonia Road while authorities canvas the area for more information. Anyone with details is encouraged to contact the police.
