Ottawa police report that a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle Saturday evening at the intersection of Laurier Avenue and Nicholas Street. Officers arrived at the scene around 7:15 p.m., where the pedestrian was treated for injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Portions of the surrounding roads were temporarily closed and later reopened by about 9:30 p.m. Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision.
