Phillip Street in Waterloo was closed Monday after a collision involving a pedestrian and a GO Transit bus. Waterloo Regional Police reported the crash around 1:30 p.m., saying the pedestrian, a 22-year-old man from Waterloo, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The bus driver, a 57-year-old man from Mississauga, was uninjured.

By 3 p.m., the bus, which had a damaged front window, remained at the scene along with several police vehicles and a GO Transit special constable. The incident remains under investigation.
