A 53-year-old cyclist from Pelham has died following a collision with a vehicle in Niagara Region. The incident occurred on August 12, shortly before 6 p.m., near the intersection of Welland Road and Effingham Street. The cyclist succumbed to their injuries three days later, on August 15.
Niagara police are actively searching for the driver of a white Dodge Ram pickup truck believed to be involved in the crash. Investigators are requesting any dashcam, cellphone, or surveillance footage from between 5 and 6 p.m. in the areas of Welland Road, or between Effingham and Haist streets.
