Firefighters safely rescued a person trapped inside a vehicle that had rolled onto its side following a crash in Kanata on Sunday morning. Emergency crews responded to the scene at the intersection of Templeford Avenue and Tabaret Street just before 9 a.m.
Upon arrival, Ottawa Fire Services found one vehicle on its side with an occupant trapped inside. Firefighters quickly stabilized the vehicle, deployed a charged hose line as a safety measure, and used specialized hydraulic tools to extricate the individual.
According to Ottawa Paramedic Service, no injuries were reported. Crews also spread absorbent material to manage leaking fluids and cleared debris from the roadway before leaving the scene.
