OPP are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Highway 410 in Brampton on Sunday evening.
Authorities say the incident happened shortly after 6 p.m., when a man stopped his car on the highway’s shoulder and exited his vehicle. He was then struck by another car and pronounced dead at the scene.
The southbound lanes of Highway 410 were closed between Sandalwood Parkway East and Bovaird Drive East for several hours as police investigated and crews cleared the area. All lanes reopened just before midnight.
