Over the long weekend, a person was hit by a train in Belleville. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. on Sunday near 27 Newberry Street in the city’s east end, involving a Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) train.
Authorities have not released any information about the individual’s condition. Belleville Police responded to assist at the scene, and the train cleared the area by early Monday morning.
