A pizza shop in Alliston got an unexpected shock Monday morning when a Dodge Ram pickup truck crashed through its front windows. The incident occurred just before noon at the Little Caesar’s on Young Street in New Tecumseth.
Nottawasaga OPP responded to a call at 11:45 a.m. reporting the single-vehicle collision. Upon arrival, officers found the vehicle had driven directly into the storefront. The driver was a woman, though no details have been released about the cause of the crash or any potential charges.
According to OPP Const. Mckayla Cotey, the building’s structural integrity was compromised, and the store was expected to close for the day as a result.
