At around 2:28 a.m. on Dec. 7, officers responded to a crash in Ottawa’s east end involving a pickup truck and a Kubota snowplow operating on a sidewalk. The collision sent both vehicles into a ditch.
Police arrested the truck’s driver at the scene for impaired driving. Breath tests later registered readings of 190 mg and 200 mg of alcohol per 100 ml of blood.
