A collision involving a pickup truck and an ambulance shut down part of Highway 400 in Innisfil on Friday.
Police say a black, four-door pickup truck was seen driving erratically before it crashed into an ambulance and ended up in a ditch. Two paramedics who were inside the ambulance at the time were not injured.
The driver of the pickup was taken into custody and arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. Their identity has not been released.
The crash forced the closure of two southbound lanes on Highway 400. Police say the investigation remains ongoing.
