A fatal crash occurred Monday morning in Prince Edward County near Wellington, where a pickup truck left the roadway and struck several trees. Emergency crews responded to the scene around 8:15 a.m.
The driver, a 69-year-old man from Quinte West, was the sole occupant of the vehicle. He was located outside the truck with no vital signs and was transported to hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Ontario Provincial Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
