South Bruce OPP are seeking help from the public after a hit-and-run crash involving a pickup truck over the Thanksgiving long weekend. The incident occurred around 9:15 p.m. on Sunday, Oct 12 at the intersection of Bruce Road 17 and B Line in Arran-Elderslie.
Police report that a passenger vehicle was traveling on Bruce Road 17 when a light-coloured pickup truck, believed to be a Dodge Ram 2500 with aftermarket grill and undercarriage lighting, ran a stop sign and struck the vehicle before fleeing the scene.
Dash cam footage captured the crash, and the pickup is expected to have front-end damage. Anyone with information is asked to contact South Bruce OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
