Windsor police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a driver involved in a hit-and-run that injured a 17-year-old girl.
The incident occurred shortly after 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 9 in the 2600 block of Howard Avenue. Police say four teenagers were crossing the road when a southbound vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed struck the girl.
The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Investigators are looking for a newer-model grey Ford Escape believed to be involved in the collision.
Police are urging residents and motorists in the area to review security camera and dashcam footage to help identify the vehicle or driver.
