York Region police are appealing for witnesses as they investigate a June 2 crash in King Township, where a sedan traveling at nearly 200 km/h left one man injured.
According to police, the white sedan was speeding south on Dufferin Street at over 180 km/h in a 60 km/h zone when it veered off the road north of Davis Drive around 5:30 p.m. The vehicle eventually stopped in dense brush.
The driver, who was the only occupant, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
