Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a truck crash on the Queen Elizabeth Way in Burlington on Thursday afternoon.
Shortly before 4 p.m., a truck lost control in the Fort Erie-bound lanes near the Brant Street exit. The vehicle ended up wedged against the concrete guardrail, sustaining significant damage. Along the way, the truck also struck some cables and another car, spilling diesel fuel into a nearby ditch.
No injuries were reported from either vehicle. Police say they are looking into whether mechanical failure may have contributed to the incident. The crash has led to lengthy closures, including the Brant Street exit.
