Lanes on the Queen Elizabeth Way near Erin Mills Parkway in Mississauga were closed Thursday afternoon following a crash involving a transport truck.
The collision occurred around 3:45 p.m. in the Toronto-bound lanes. Initially, two centre lanes were closed, with the left lane also closed by 4 p.m., causing significant traffic backups.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes if possible.
