A 36-year-old Quebec resident is facing charges after a rollover crash on Highway 401 in eastern Ontario that police say involved aggressive driving behaviour.
Ontario Provincial Police responded to the collision in the Quinte West area on Monday evening. Images shared online showed a vehicle resting in the median, with visible tire marks along the highway shoulder.
Investigators say the crash is linked to reports of a driver cutting off other vehicles before the rollover occurred. Police also said the driver left the scene but was later located in Northumberland County.
The driver of the rolled vehicle was taken to hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
The accused now faces a charge of dangerous driving as the investigation continues.
