A 45-year-old Quebec man was killed in a crash involving a tractor-trailer and another vehicle in Hawkesbury on Friday morning.
Ontario Provincial Police responded to McGill Street shortly after 8 a.m. Following the collision, the tractor-trailer driver was found critically injured and later pronounced dead despite attempts to save his life.
Police identified the victim as Martin Duranleau of Trois-Rivières, Quebec. The driver of the other vehicle was taken to hospital as a precaution.
McGill Street was closed between Spence Avenue and Main Street while investigators examined the scene.
