A two-vehicle crash caused significant damage to a Lowertown townhouse complex, displacing several residents. The collision, which occurred around 5:02 p.m. in the 300 block of Murray Street, involved a moving truck hitting another vehicle, which then struck a townhouse.
Ottawa Fire Services confirmed the crash caused structural damage to multiple units. A structural collapse team assessed the damage and reinforced the building with support posts and cribbing. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the vehicle was removed once the area was stabilized.
