Huronia Road in south Barrie was temporarily shut down Tuesday following a two-vehicle crash.

Police say the collision happened around 10:10 a.m. between Saunders and Lockhart roads, prompting a response from police, fire, and paramedic services. The road was closed while crews investigated the scene.

Both drivers were taken to hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.

Authorities urged motorists to steer clear of the area during the investigation. The roadway was reopened to traffic shortly after 2 p.m.
