An overturned dump truck caused significant traffic delays near Pearson International Airport on Saturday morning. The incident occurred around 10:45 a.m. on Highway 27 near Neartic Drive, following a reported collision.

Toronto police say the dump truck ended up in a ditch, prompting the closure of one northbound lane. Officers remain at the scene as they await a heavy-duty tow truck to remove the vehicle. Traffic in the area has been moving slowly, and drivers are being advised to take alternate routes.

The truck driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital. Police are asking anyone with dashcam footage to contact the traffic services unit.
