Two Toronto police officers were hospitalized following a collision in Scarborough on Tuesday afternoon.
The crash occurred shortly before noon near Finch Avenue East and Midland Avenue. Emergency crews, including paramedics, transported multiple people to hospital after the incident.
Officials say the driver of the other vehicle involved was also taken to hospital. Injuries reported include one person with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, along with two others who sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators have not yet determined what led to the collision, though reports indicate a pole was struck in the crash.
Road closures were put in place in the surrounding area as police continued their investigation.
