A motorcyclist was rushed to hospital with serious, possibly life-threatening injuries after a crash in Scarborough on Tuesday evening.
Toronto police said the collision between a motorcycle and a van occurred just before 8 p.m. at the intersection of Brimley and Deerfield roads.
Paramedics transported the rider to a trauma centre, while the van’s driver remained at the scene. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
