Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) reported a 36-year-old man riding a sit-down scooter was killed in a crash near the south end of Stockdale Road in Quinte West on Tuesday night.
The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. between Miron and Lock roads, close to the Telephone Road roundabout. The man was transported to the hospital but later died from his injuries. His identity has not been released.
The scene is located approximately 4 kilometers northwest of the Trent River mouth and 18 kilometers west of downtown Belleville. The investigation is ongoing.
